Another season is wrapping up

How are things going for me as far as Splinterlands go?

Well, the @herons-unlimited account which plays my cards took first place in a tournament the other day. So that was cool! It was nice to check my Steem Engine wallet and see over 5000 DEC waiting for me.

I've also started playing some of the tiny accounts I've accumulated over the year (s). Oh yeah, speaking of which... I've been on Steem for one year now. I got the alert. Well, this account has been on Steem for one year. That means I've been playing Splinterlands / Steem Monsters for a little over a year as well.

As I've written before, I didn't get into Splinterlands immediately despite being heavily interested in everything Steem. It was simply because I didn't think such a game would really interest me at all as I'd never really gotten into anything like it before. In many ways, it feels like it's been more than a year.

Between sharkmonsters still getting 40 cards from starting off the season in a high enough league to get rewards and the small starter accounts I have, I'll be getting 250 rewards card at the end of the season. I made to at least Silver III with starter cards. A couple of accounts are Silver II, and three of them are still Bronze I. That's not bad, though.

I decided to focus on one of the smaller accounts and send all of the DEC and rewards cards to that one and try to start sort of building up a second account while I've got all of my max level cards delegated out still. That account is @some-asshole, which is a pretty funny name, I think. Feel free to send any of your unwanted cards there! Even rusty androids! Some Asshole likes all cards.

I'll have more to report after the season ends, which will be at 3 am my time.
