Flash flood takes over Lagos roads after heavy downpour While I Stay Indoors Fighting Splinterlands Battles
The rain started very early in the morning as if it was not going to have a heavy impact on the environment, but as it gained momentum it started hitting hard on the roof and then the heavy waters started accumulating everywhere and before you know it many places were already flooded.
Flooding of the environment is a yearly occurrence in Lagos state as it borders the Atlantic ocean and many of the waters from the hinter upper lands that drain their waters through the Lagos land mass. We also get hit by the Atlantic ocean waters when they overflow their banks. We don't get it easy from any angle I tell you. That is what nature has thrown at us and we can't do much for now but to manage the situation.
As the rain continued into the late afternoon period there was nothing much one could do but fight the Splinterlands daily quest battles to complete my daily quest and see if I can gain more points for the day. I started my battle day with two defeats and started thinking it was going to be like yesterdays' battles but thank God the win came up in the third fight and that opened the door for more wins to help me complete my daily quest. I would say I won seventy to eighty percent of my battles today and I beleive that is a fair game.
Rewards day 226
I got three Rare monster, some Common cards with some Legendary and Alchemy potions and then some more DECs.
Least I forget, I checked yesterday and saw that I got the CHANSEUS THE GREAT legendary summoner airdrop. That is a first time for me and I feel very luck getting it. It's sweet to finally realize that all the packs I both had gotten me something very sweet.
