Fungi should rule the Splinterlands with their consciousness between life and death

Fungi are the largest, most widely spread and oldest group of living organisms on the planet. Yet they have been largely overlooked and the life in Splinterlands suffers from it. While they have a profound effect on the health and can improve it, help the environment, infrastructure, an unexplored thing about them is that they can push the realms of our consciousness to the limit. It is time to stop giving them less attention than to the plants and animals from Splinterlands considering that Fungi are between 6X and 10X more species than plants in the world. And due to this stagnation and overlook, only 6% have been discovered in the world, thus an infinite possibility for what they can do and how we can use their qualities.

The Splinterlands have few Fungi species but those could be so much more with a little bit of research and discovery and imagination. Mushrooms are one of the species which we encounter in the Splinterlands, but still seems to little for what those represent and how much are spread all over the lands. They can be used for improving the soil with specific nutrients, they have healing powers (We need this in the game and not only poison) and they can keep the living beings fed for years to come.

Fungi can have a kingdom of their own in the Splinterlands and it is in our powers to discover them and harvest their potential. Some of the species that we could explore include yeasts, lichens, molds, truffles and numerous other mushrooms. We could build an entire community from this and new monsters could rise in the game with diverse qualities and magical powers. Some of the Fungi are even mobile and those could bring quite a few surprises in the battles with their different physiology, shape and color. And to think that this world is not set in stone and there are so many others out there to be discovered, just allows us so many more possibilities. Hope the kings from the Splinterlands are looking over this and will add some more fungi in the realms.

Beside this just some words to finish this and let you think on it: “Fungi are the interface organisms between life and death.” Let them spread all over the Splinterlands and let's harvest their powers in our continuous battles for ruling this realm!
