Here are a few words with Mr SP Invest himself. This week's video was supposed to be 4-5 quick updates but i ended up using all my time to talk about 1 thing. Anyways, have a watch and let me know what you think.

Options 2 and 3 are not really options - they change the nature of the club/fund and the culture behind SP Invest.
Option 1 is completely cool. Decentralised means taking personal responsibility, and in order to achieve some things, that means collaborating with others. A free market means you are free to work with others (collaborate) to achieve an outcome - such as protecting the fund.
It's not a speculative token, and the fund needs to remedy anything that encourages or enables speculators.

:) I honestly think there is only 1 option but this is a big step and requires some sort of vote.
Going forward, I'm looking to just get this done and over with. I have an idea I'm bursting to do that you're gonna love but that'll be a few weeks away as this steem-engine thing is my main focus right now. I can only do one important at a time so you'll ahve to wait ;)

Refreshing to hear your views on decentralisation. Couldn't agree more. Having seen all the greed around Steem and Splinterlands I came to the conclusion the human race in general isn't sufficiently evolved to manage true decentralisation. 😂
Nice idea but my eyes have been opened to many of the pitalls and disadvantages.
Good excuse though for arguing for things to stay the same when they're working in "your" favour to the detriment of others. "You can't do that they cry. Steemit/Splinterlands/fill in the blanks is decentralised". 😂
I’m not a voting member but if I was I’d wonder why do nothing wasn’t even an option I could vote on. If people are buying and selling at slightly under 1 STEEMP, so what? Most people get 0.99 STEEMP for 1 STEEM so any price on S-E above 0.99 is really a price above 1 STEEM.
But if I had to vote on one of the three options, it would have to be Number 1. Number 2 is bad enough but Number 3 is awful. If 3 passes, I would have to seriously consider liquidating my SPI holdings.
SPinvest issuing new tokens on the SE exchange so when someone uncuts the sell price, SPinvest does not issue tokens. We are trying to issue 1 million tokens so if others are uncutting the price then thats a fork in the road.
