Spinvest's draft page for Leopedia
Hello, i had no plan to post this as it's a draft for a leopedia page I'm working on but I've just had the impulsive thought to upload it for some feedback. Please point out my spelling errors and bad grammar so i can amend. If you have not heard of leopedia before, there is a link at the bottom of the post. It's basically what it sounds like and anyone can produce an informational page in markdown format and get it reviewed to be added by @khaleelkazi. I think it's a great addition and i really hope it grows as it could turn into a very focused niche source of informational wealth. Think about having one place where you had all the best information of all steem related projects out there are at least the ones worthy of someone to take the time to write about. I still need to add in paragraphs for Steemleo being SPinvest's backbone tribe/frontend, discord and maybe a chart are two. Not 100% sure about any charts as they date quickly. Anyways, starting from after the page divider this is what i have so far. Ps, the actual page i submit will not be in a centred format as per my normal style.
SPINVEST - SteemPower Investments
@spinvest is an investment club based on the STEEM blockchain that was launched on the 28th June 2019 by founder @silverstackeruk. The club issues shares in the form of steem-engine tokens using the ticker SPI. Our main objective is to encourage and educate long term saving on and off the blockchain while actively building a portfolio of investments. Our mission is not to get rich quickly but get rich slowly using low risk and time served investments.
How spinvest works and serves the community
The business model that SPinvest has created provides a no staking (powering up) required profitable investment portfolio that is self-funded by the accounts wallets STEEM POWER balance with no risk to investor’s capital while earning a minimum of a 20% ROI per year for all token holders.
Let me break it down for you. @spinvest has been set up to issue 1 million SPI tokens (shares) currently at the cost of 1 STEEM each. As each token is sold all STEEM received is POWERED UP. All the accounts STEEM POWER and used to fill lease requests, vote sell, curate are use other forms of investment techniques to receive a daily/weekly/monthly payment at a rate of at least 20% per year. STEEM payments received from earnings are used to buy crypto's, precious metals, stocks and a range of other safer investments. The @spinvest STEEM POWER balance will never be powered down ensuring everyone's STEEM investment is safe and the actual investment fund is completely risk-free as it is funded with interest payments received from STEEM POWER earnings.
Technical Description
The aim of SPinvest - SteemPower Investment club is to provide tokenized saving on a semi-decentralized structure. Being built on the STEEM blockchain and using a steem-engine token, we get with 3-second transactions and zero transaction fees. We have created an investment club where members have the freedom to vote on investments, policy changes and any other SPinvest related matter.
Tokens
There is a maximum supply of 1 million SPI tokens of which almost 90,000 are already issued (Jan 2020)
SPinvest operates 2 types of investors.
1/ The first type of investor is an SPI token holder. An SPI token holder buys to invest, to HODL and to sell for a profit at a later date. This is for someone that just wants to own a token that consistently increases in value.
2/ The second type of investor is a confirmed club member. A confirmed club member will hold SPI tokens but will have also agreed to the SPI partnership agreement. This is for token holders that would like to add value by actively taking part.
All SPI token holders earn the same and there is no monetary gain by becoming a confirmed SPI member. All dividend payments are token splits applies to all token holders equally. We currently have 1 confirmed member for every 6 token holders.
Sub accounts
Spinvest has currently expanded and bunched out into 5 accounts. We now consist of 1 main account and 4 sub-accounts. Each account has a dedicated operator and serves its own purpose.
Operators include in order of start date: @silverstacker, @jk6276, @underground and @condradsuperb
Monetary System
Unlike STEEM, SPI tokens offer the opportunity to own a token that earns at least 20% per year from utilizing the earning potential of STEEM POWER with no staking required. SPinvest has a 95% of sale price buy back wall in place that offers liquidly giving token holders an exit.
SPI token price increases as earning are made from the accounts STEEM POWER balance which provides consistent growth and profit.

Just as SBI does, call them “units” rather than “shares” because of the SEC in the U.S., as well as other regulators.

Not sure what this is trying to say. OR rather than ARE? Even that’s a bit muddled though.
