SPI Token Distribution and Rewards on our way to 1 million
Hello. It's time to make a few changes in the way that SPI tokens are going to be issued and how they are valued. Right now, as SPI token costs 1 STEEM and will be revalued to true value after all 1 million tokens are sold. Now, this was an epic fail on my part as selling 1 million tokens might be incredibly hard and almost impossible from a new account. Let's build up some trust and kick off our steemsteem investments community proper. I run a few other projects where i am established but this account is new. My personal account is @silverstackeruk, i am the owner, operator of @spinvest. It is time change this while the project is still only a few days old. Today's post is all about the new token distribution.
Each SPI token represents 1 share in @spinvest and is backed by a min of 1 STEEM POWER.
Lets break the million tokens up into stages and build it up. They say a picture can speak a thousand words.
- SPI Tokens are revalued at the end of every stage
As each stage is completed, i will look at the total account value of @spinvest and any investments made and divide that total number by tokens issued to investors. This will give us the true value of each token in STEEM. The price change take place on steem-engine and all my steemit posts meaning you'll never got these for 1 STEEM again.......ever!!! Grab your balls and buy a bunch while they are cheap.
- SPI Token Giveaways
The STEEM for giveaways has to come from somewhere and i thought about it and decided to do the giveaway amounts to be under the amount that can be earned in 1 month. 10,000 STEEM can earn 200 STEEM in a month. The total amount to be given away will be divided into smaller batches and gave away lotto style with each investor getting a number for each token they own. The giveaway for issuing 1 million tokens will happen when there are 995,000 tokens issued.
- Dividends 3-5%
The percentage is undecided but will be between 3-5% and will be based on the total value of your token holdings. Based on running a few numbers this is what i have come up with. 3% would be roughly half the STEEM made up until that point but i am not factoring in post payments are curations rewards from vote selling so it is possible for this number to be bigger.
- After all 1 million are issued
Undecided for the moment, i am very sure by that point there will be a buzzing community of members that will have no problem to make suggestions. Lets start as we journey our way to target 1 which is 10,000 tokens issued. I am committed to buying 5,000 personally which is half way so the links are below to get your today. Once pass the first stage, you will never get SPI tokens for 1 STEEM again.

Each share until 1 million are sold will cost 1 STEEM each. You can also directly send any amount of STEEM you like to @spinvest and you will receive the same amount in SPI shares up to 2 decimals. All SPI tokens (shares) will be transferred to investor’s steem-engine accounts within 24 hours of sale completion.

The reason for the 1.02 STEEM price is simply because there is a 1% fee to withdraw the STEEM off the exchange.

You mention lotto style so this will be random or everyone gets dividends? Also the share price will be recalculated? I think you mentioned eg. current value is 1.01 per share does that mean you will by for 1.01?

To be honest, im going to trying to build some sort of community around the whole thing so things like this in future can be decided by community vote. For now, lotto style is every token will have a number. I will draw numbers from the total issued which will be 10,000 for the first one. There are a few ways i can do it and being vague when writing leaves the door open to decide the finer details when the time comes. I have been thinking that if i divide the amount total tokens issued by 4 so every token has a 1 in 4 chance of winning 1 of the 2500 prizes for the first giveaway. Based in a 200 SPI giveaway, each winning ticket would be worth 0.08 SPI. Not much but if you hold 200 tokens, you could win 50 times and pocket 4 SPI are 2% of your holdings.
Dividends will be paid out to everyone in STEEM
When the token is revalued at the end of every stage, the price will change to whatever the current price is meaning i kill all my 1 STEEM buying links and update them to the current true value. If each token is worth for example 1.05 STEEM, then that is how much they will cost to buy. The steem-engine price would change to 1.05 STEEM plus 1% to cover withdraw fees. Infact, because you have bought some for 1 STEEM each, by the time they are selling for 1.50, everytime i issue a token you make money from that.

yeah, 1 million tokens is 0.3% of all STEEM out there.Build it up in stages, offer incentives, got more involved.
The great thing is your buying in early for 1 STEEM for token. By the time it's for example 1.50 STEEM per token, everytime i sell a new token you will make money. This is a great reason for investors to resteem my posts cause it will pay for do so.
I dont mean right now but after the prices increases. Im putting in 5,000 myself so the 1st target is really only 5,000 more. Thanks for being supportive and all your feedback has been taken on, you know me :)
