¿Cómo Ha Impactado Steem Mi Vida? / How Has Steem Impacted My Life

Steemit fue mi primer contacto con el mundo Blockchain y de las criptos. También es mi primera experiencia como blogger, en la que sigo siendo un bebé. Todo esto ha revolucionado el uso de mi tiempo, buscando siempre el momento de entrar a mi blog y plasmar lo que quiero compartir.

Steemit was my first contact with the Blockchain world and the crypts. It's also my first experience as a blogger, in which I'm still a baby. All this has revolutionized the use of my time, always looking for the moment to enter my blog and capture what I want to share.

Ha sido interesante este proceso. Al principio, me registré por inercia, ante el entusiasmo de mis nuevos compañeros de trabajo, cuando el Steem tenía un valor muy atractivo. De hecho, un buen amigo, @enrique89, me ayudó con el registro y los comandos básicos para los formatos de las publicaciones.

It's been an interesting process. At first, I registered out of inertia, in the face of the enthusiasm of my new colleagues, when Steem had a very attractive value. In fact, a good friend, @enrique89, helped me with the registration and the basic commands for the formats of the publications.

Sin embargo, me faltaba ( y aún me sigue faltando) mucho por aprender. Más o menos un mes después, se desplomó el precio de la moneda. No sufrí mucho, porque realmente nunca cobré una buena recompensa. Casi siempre tenía un merecido 0 en mis post.

However, I had (and still have) a lot to learn. About a month later, the price of the coin collapsed. I didn't suffer much, because I never really got a good reward. I almost always had a deserved 0 in my publications.

Una de mis fortalezas es la perseverancia, así que simplemente seguí publicando (una parte de mí quería aprobación, mejorar a un punto en el que mereciera una buena recompensa). Como un año después, recibí mi primer voto de una importante comunidad de apoyo al contenido en español, que era el sueño de mis amigos, y me sentí complacida. Aquí creo necesario mencionar, que son muchas las comunidades que me han alentado y apoyado en este transitar (prefiero no mencionar a ninguna para evitar olvidar alguna). Lo cierto es que cada una tiene su fortaleza y su rol en este mar de oportunidades.

One of my strengths is perseverance, so I just kept on publishing (part of me wanted approval, to improve to a point where I deserved a good reward). About a year later, I received my first vote from a large community of supporters of Spanish content, which was my friends' dream, and I was pleased. Here I think it is necessary to mention, that there are many communities that have encouraged and supported me in this journey (I prefer not to mention any of them to avoid forgetting some). The truth is that each one has its own strength and role in this sea of opportunities.

Después de alcanzar esa meta, ya mi motivación cambió. En el camino he ido interactuando con personas, compartiendo lecturas y comentarios; he encontrado contenido enriquecedor que me satisface, e incluso he conocido personas en los diferentes Meetup y/o reuniones que surgen a través de las diferentes comunidades. Además, he visto en la plataforma Steem, una forma de permanecer en el tiempo para mis afectos. Todo esto ha sido verdaderamente significativo para mí, dándole una connotación más profunda y duradera.

After I reached that goal, my motivation changed. Along the way I have been interacting with people, sharing readings and comments; I have found enriching content that satisfies me, and I have even met people in the different Meetup and/or meetings that arise through the different communities. In addition, I have seen in the Steem platform, a way to stay in time for my affections. All this has been truly significant for me, giving it a deeper and more lasting connotation.

Y no sería justo dejar de mencionar que en ocasiones he cambiado algunos steem para darme algún gusto; me encanta disfrutarlos con mis hijos.

And it wouldn't be fair not to mention that sometimes I've changed a few steems to give myself some pleasure; I love to enjoy them with my kids.

Por otra parte, aquí se comparte contenido original, y eso me encanta, ya que deja ver la esencia de cada quien; y también me gusta su nivel de exigencia, porque nos hace esforzarnos a ser mejores. Realmente no soy amiga de las redes sociales convencionales, normalmente saturadas de tanta superficialidad y vacío. Valoro mi tiempo, procuro no desaprovecharlo.

On the other hand, here we share original content, and I love that, since it shows the essence of each one of us; and I also like its level of demand, because it makes us strive to be better. I'm not really a friend of conventional social networks, which are usually saturated with so much superficiality and emptiness. I value my time, I try not to waste it.

Creo que la mayoría de nosotros no sabe el valor de que nuestro blog esté grabado en una Blockchain, lo que significa que es permanente e inquebrantable y que además tiene la ventaja de monetizar. Siempre sueño con que su uso se haga masivo y su token sufra un alza atractiva y se estabilice allí. Es una manera de que cada usuario reciba una recompensa justa, proporcional al tiempo que decida invertir en esta experiencia. La mayoría de las personas permanecen horas navegando o creando contenido en las redes sociales tradicionales, sin notar lo valioso que es el tiempo que gastan allí. Lo bueno es que aquí mi sueño es una realidad posible.

I think most of us don't know the value of our blog being recorded on a Blockchain, which means that it is permanent and unbreakable and also has the advantage of monetizing. I always dream that its use will become massive and its token will suffer an attractive rise and stabilize there. It is a way for each user to receive a fair reward, proportional to the time they decide to invest in this experience. Most people spend hours surfing or creating content in traditional social networks, without noticing how valuable is the time they spend there. The good thing is that here my dream is a possible reality.
