My advance in photography | Mi avance en fotografía

Since my last post I commented that I want to start in the “Urban photography” although to be honest, I have not advanced much because I need to investigate a little more about the legal problems that I could have when taking photographs of people and some structures, since each country has a different legislation, I need to get into the laws of my country (Mexico) so as not to make mistakes.

Desde la ultima publicación comenté que deseo iniciarme en la “fotografía urbana” aunque para ser sincero, no he avanzado demasiado debido a que necesito investigar un poco más sobre los problemas legales que podría tener al tomar fotografías de personas y algunas estructuras, ya que cada país tiene una legislación diferente, necesito adentrarme en las leyes de mi país (México) para no cometer errores.

Although that has not prevented me from taking a few photographs, like today, that I went to a flea market, also called “tianguis” and “on wheels” in some other cities.

Aunque eso no ha evitado que sí tome algunas cuantas fotografías, como hoy, que me fui a un mercado de pulgas, también llamado “tianguis” y “sobre ruedas” en algunas otras ciudades.

And while buying some things necessary for the home, I took the following images:

In this small business they have books for all tastes, some are already quite mistreated, but most can provide a pleasant moment of reading, at a very economical price:

En este pequeño negocio tienen libros para todos los gustos, algunos ya se encuentran bastante maltratados, pero la mayoría puede brindar un momento agradable de lectura, a un precio muy económico:

I kept walking and I found a place where they sell used toys, and although I could buy them new I decided to buy a couple of them, I think they will serve quite as models and so, I can continue to improve my technique.

Seguí caminando y me encontré con un lugar donde venden juguetes usados, y aunque podría comprarlos nuevos decidí comprar un par de ellos, creo que servirán bastante como modelos y así, puedo seguir mejorando mí técnica

The picture on the left was the first one, I didn't like the result and I took a second picture, which is the one on the right:

La fotografía de la izquierda fue la primera, no me gustó el resultado y tomé una segunda foto, la cual es la de la derecha:

Well, arriving at my home was time to practice, so here I leave the results, on the left side are the original photos, and those on the right side only have a small effect called “Vignette” which is just an effect of shadow on the edges to bring the gaze to the center.

Y bien, llegando a mi hogar era momento de practicar, así que aquí les dejo los resultados, del lado izquierdo se encuentran las fotos originales, y las del lado derecho solo tienen un pequeño efecto llamado “Viñeta” lo cual es sólo un efecto de sombra en los bordes para llevar la mirada hacia el centro.

Many photographers add effects, modify colors, and in the end, although their results look wonderful, it is no longer something original and unique as captured in the photograph, I think that just the effect of light and shadow is enough to give a little more of presence to photography, what do you think?

Muchos fotógrafos añaden efectos, modifican colores, y al final, aunque sus resultados se ven maravillosos, ya no es algo original y único como se capturó en la fotografía, creo que con solo el efecto de luz y sombra es suficiente para dar un poco más de presencia a la fotografía, ¿Tú qué opinas?

Gracias, y pues buscando algo con qué seguir activo, eso del negocio de mi hermano no me deja mucho tiempo libre, pero hago el intento por seguir aquí jajaja, saludos :)

Those are great photos. The flea market is an awesome place for photography. It has so many different colors and textures.

I like your use of the vignette feature on the photo editor. It really adds something to the images. I never use it myself but maybe I should give it a try. Cool post!

Thanks, the vignette effect I think is something simple but that fulfills its function perfectly, in fact a good photograph does not need so many corrections or editions, greetings :)
