Comparto un poema inédito, mas no reciente, en el que vuelvo a uno de los temas que me tocan, difícil de designar en un solo sustantivo: la recurrencia / el retorno / la permanencia / el destino.

I share an unpublished, but not recent, poem in which I return to one of the themes that touches me, difficult to designate in a single noun: recurrence / return / permanence / destiny.

¿Qué fuerza nos hace
volver al mismo lugar
innominado y familiar,
como si nunca hubiéramos partido
con nuestra mirada
de viajero siempre en tránsito,
la intacta muda de ropa
y el acostumbrado escalofrío en la piel?

What force makes us
return to the same place
unnamed and familiar,
as if we'd never left,
with our eyes
of traveler always in transit,
the untouched moult of clothes
and the usual chill on the skin?
