GrisVisas Mermay Prompt 3 - Skull 💀 🎨

Hello, how are you Hive readers?

We are still in May and that means, we continue with the mermaids. This character is inspired by the list of @grisvisa uploaded to Instagram, the skull entry for the second week.

I misunderstood Gris.visa's list and I made in week 1 the one that corresponded to week 2, besides that, I mixed the idea of Gris's list with the officialTom Bancroft's Mermay list which entry of day 3 was "sweet".

I messed up the prompts, I did them when isn’t suppose to do and, but the thing is that I mixed both things, and I got this idea that I'm going to present here.

This sketch and its version in Ink doesn’t change very much

As before, I used Ibis Paint to give the drawing tentative colors using my phone. The result is not very pretty but I was happy with the colors which is the important thing.

To mix the Skull and candy ideas, I came up with a sort of pet mermaid and the aquarium where she is contained, has skull decorations (much like how Dross has his pet fish, the all-powerful Mussolini) and the things the mermaid holds is a candy.

Then, I proceeded to paint. I used my colored pencils that I already showed in some previous posts.

This Little painting took me two days to finish.
