Una esquina, un farol encendido,
el descanso físico de un hombre
y el ajetreo mental de sus pensamientos
que lo acompañan.

Pasa la vida, llena de miserias e interrogantes,
bebe las dudas, come los sinsabores,
todo se acaba, pierde el sentido,
se aferra a los placeres sencillos.
✧
Una tumba, un enterrador semi dormido,
el cadáver frío de un hombre,
y el descanso final de su alma
que lo abandona.
