I played it very differently myself, but I like your version as well. That's the beauty of organ music: so many ways to play and register just one piece... !
Thanks. Our interpretations are different. Vive la différence! On seeing a new score, I make a point of working it out first to see how it strikes me before hearing another’s recording (so as not to be unduly influenced in my interpretation). Yes, that is the beauty of organ music. Conversely, I recall my teacher (French and with a pedigree going back to Franck) also telling me : listen to x, y and z (the parameters) and make your interpretation in between.
