My Actifit Report Card: February 15 2020

Oh yeah! I played in my first disc golf tournament today. It went really well. I was pretty cold and nervous at first but my son and I got off to a great start. We had a bit of trouble on basket fifteen - the one by the river where it is very easy to loose a disc. Nothing was lost but the score, lol. The wind was really messing with us, lets let it go at that.

I'm really glad that my son played with me. My friend that I signed up with did not show up. I had a feeling this might happen based on the fact that I found a lot of his discs on another course and I had not seen him since the tournament was initially canceled. The other friends I usually play with could not make it either. It is tough when things get rescheduled so many times.

I'm feeling a bit tired this evening and my left leg was giving me a bit of trouble but it feels fine now. I think I have been putting in a lot of disc golf recently.

Another orchid flower opened up over the last couple of days. That's three flowers on one plant so far. I think the other two plants flowers are about to open too. Here's a couple of pictures:

Orchids are nice captive subjects for photography - they hold still and don't demand any compensation, lol. Maybe I might buy another one some time, I have been lucky enough to keep these alive well past the usual amount of time for this grey sky colder climate. :D

Pretty orchid.

I saw some at a grocery store the other day with lots of other flowers for the Valentine's people. I almost bought a white one, but then hesitated feeling sure I would just take it home and kill it. :)

Yeah they dont demand compensation coz we pay for them upfront...As opposed to kids that are free upfront but then cost us for the next 20 years LOL
