"Stories of imagination tend to upset those without one"

It is well known that a vital ingredient of success is not knowing that what you're attempting can't be done. Therefore, this Sunday post is just made by no more than a handful of witty quotes from Terry Pratchett plus an odd bunch of "One Thousands Words" Enjoy!!

“In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this yet”

"My powers and my assets were given with a purpose, a magnificent, but simple purpose, to create a new future, a future ruled by us" «Lord Blackwood»

"Where none govern, everyone rules. Where everyone govern, nobody rules. It is chaos" «Jacques Benigne Bossuet»

“Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it” «Terry Pratchett»

"They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance"

"It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it"

"The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head"

¡That's it folks!

Oh! and yeah ¡Steem On! because...

"The pen is mightier than the sword if the sword is very short, and the pen is very sharp"

Some interesting stuff there, the quote about governing and ruling was fascinating. I'm not sure I catch the distinction that was apparently being made between the two words though? They seem like synonyms kinda?
