Howdy sir galenkp! That sounds wonderful..out on the water with just the sights and sounds of the paddles in the water. I always think of kayaks as just having a round opening that you squeeze into but those look more like canoes.

Sort of a cross between a kayak and a canoe really. Good for the ocean or fresh water. We like paddling so get out when time permits.
The ocean sounds scary but I'm not a boat person. Almost never been on the water. Was on a decent sized boat on Lake Erie one time.
Yes, we don't go on the ocean much...Sharks you know. We got them and that's their domain.
I'd love to spend time on the beach but I've never liked the idea of swimming in the ocean!
