During our week in Montana we went on 5 hikes. This is a compilation of the ratings and a few pictures of each hike.

Bowman Lake Hike
This hike gets a 10/10

2ViewsBeautiful green with gimps of the lake along the way
2DestinationThe hike started with the best view of the lake, there were other places we stopped that had fantastic views
2Time on trial2.5 hours. Great amount of time for me

Hidden Lake Overlook Hike
This hike gets a 10/10

2Access to trailParking close to trail head. Very big parking lot at Logan Pass
1Difficulty1.5 miles of great trail. The hardest part was the very slippery snow... in July!
2ViewsGreat and diverse views the whole way
2DestinationThe overlook has great views
2Time on trial2.5 hours. Great amount of time for me

1- Extra point for the cool mountain goats on the trail!

Share My World: Day 5-Hidden Lake Overlook Hike

John's Lake Loop Hike
This hike gets a 10/10

2Difficulty1.8 miles in a loop. We only did a small portion and it was very easy. Great flat trail.
2Viewsstunning views of the river through the tress. Bonus the sound of the rushing water!
2Destinationwe didn't make it to the lake, the whole hike was the destination
2Time on trial2 hours. Great amount of time for me

Trail of Cedars Nature Trail Hike
This hike gets a 10/10

2DestinationGorgeous gorge/waterfall
2Time on trial27 minutes, probably about an hour if you did the loop

Avalanche Lake Hike
This hike gets a 7/10

1Difficultymoderate, 4.5 miles and 730 feet elevation gain
1ViewsYou are in Montana! The hike follows a river a lot of the time, there were parts of the hike I didn't care for
2DestinationBeautiful Lake, with at least 6 waterfalls going into it
1Time on trial3.5 hours from sign, 3 hours from falls

Wow Sara, 5 hikes in a week? The landscapes out of this world...I'm running out words to say how stunning they are....:) Just WOW. I'm never bored of looking at again and again those amazing views ...How great it is when laying on hammock and enjoy the beauty of nature 😍

@trangbaby I just look at the pictures again and again. I would love to go back and set a hammock up like those girls and sit and read and talk in such a beautiful place.
