Shadow Hunting in Wide Open Spaces

This is my entry for the Shadow Hunters-Round 95-Show Me A Shadow 4 contest which is hosted by @melinda010100! You can read more about the contest and how to enter here!

I took my photo while on a drive in (I believe) Harford County, Maryland. My husband was driving and we weren't really headed anywhere in particular, just a ride out in the country kind of thing. I love seeing some wide open spaces while riding around. I guess that comes from growing up in a city..lol. I did some edits but decided to keep my entry and edits simple. I snapped three photos with the fence shadow but will save a couple of those for other contests. I was between the black and white version and the sepia version for my entry. I decided on the sepia version because I thought it had a warmer look to it and it's getting just a little too cold, too soon, here for me.

Those are my faves in the order that I like. I also did some other edits that I'll share another time. Which one would you choose as your favorite? 🤔

The sepia edit is my favorite, Dee. It looks so warm and cozy especially since we are having cooler weather here also. 😊 ❤️

I love all 3 versions! That is a wonderful landscape shot and the fence shadow is quite beautiful!

I love how the landscape is enhanced by your choice of the sepia edits to give the impression of a warm, vintage and country-esque feeling.

Thank you so much Nina!! That is exactly what I was going for. I think sitting here feeling cold may have influenced my decision some to go with the sepia..lol! 😉

I just read the other comment you left me. Write a reminder note that says "Use sepia when cold" and put by your computer. Add to the collection!😀
