UpFundMe Update: Ufmbot Alpha Live + Giveaway
UFMBOT
We now have a basic upvote bot that takes in UFM to be burned in exchange for STEEM upvotes. This bot will be live until we buy bidbot software from steem-engine.
Some posts received upvotes from @ufmbot during testing, check to make sure @ufmbot has not voted on your post already before sending UFM.
Send at least 0.5 UFM to @ufmbot with the post you want upvoted as the memo.
50 UFM gives a 100% upvote. (May change at a later date!)
Bot does not comment.
Max post age: 6 days
This is not a bidbot!
Bot will upvote even if current voting power is low.
Bot can not upvote the same post more than once.
All sent UFM is burned!
No automatic refunds!
You can use steem keychain, steem-engine or your upfund.me wallet. When VP reaches 99%, a vote may be sold on minnowbooster or smartmarket to keep our Steem Power from being wasted and to help buy up more leases.
Checking Vote Power
Before you buy an upvote you should check @ufmbot's current vote power. If vote power is low, you should wait to buy your upvote for increased rewards.
You should also check to see if the amount of UFM needed has changed, this information will be available in @ufmbot's about us section on any steem front end. The best place to find all this information is from our steempeak blog and hovering over the info icon.
Using Steem Keychain
Steem keychain is the easiest way to send UFM to @ufmbot.
Open the steem keychain extension by clicking on the keys icon in your browser.
Click tokens.
Click the send icon.
Fill in ufmbot, the amount you want to send (between 0.5 and 50 UFM) and the steemit post you want upvoted as the memo (must be a steemit.com link). Then click send.
Lease Requests
We have several lease requests waiting to be filled on dlease.io. Fill these to gain over 19% APR! As vote power grows, UFM value should grow with it.

The price of 50 UFM is based on most leases being filled on dlease.io, so I would wait a little bit until more of them are filled anyways.

Great! I am one of those who believe in this project as i have invested in both UFM and UFMM. With this bot, people will need to buy UFM to get upvote via steemit and this will help increase the demand for the token. The amazing part is that these tokens are burnt which will reduce the supply out there and thereby increase demand. Keep up the good work!

50 UFM for a $0.02 upvote is a little expensive... right now we'd do better selling the tokens for 0.50 steem ($0.08). But as we know, better to BURN than to sell, right?
Will the UV value (after curation) exceed the 50 ufm token value after the leases come in?
Burning is the way to go for sure, all of our planned sinks will at least burn a portion of their income.
The upvote value should exceed the 50 token value at around half of our delegations being filled. I was hoping delegations would fill in faster, but with the hard fork coming up people are holding onto their SP more.

But wouldn't it be better to tie the 100% upvote value to the average market price of UFM in some way? Will you be changing the 50 UFM valuation for 100% upvote after the HF-21 and/or after receiving more delegations?
I refunded your test because the post was beyond the max age limit.
The price is set based on HF-21 and receiving more delegations. I also have to add in a vote delay, as it is right now people can use it right after posting, giving the bot less curation rewards.
This bot is meant to be a placeholder until we get the bot through steem-engine, that one has all the bells and whistles but costs 1000 ENG.
