Sepia Saturday - Five Nature Shots

(Edited)

A couple of weeks ago, I finally jumped in to the Sepia Saturday hash tag on Steem. That post featured the Magnolia pier from my hometown (which is now gone, and in the process of being completely replaced). This time around, I thought I'd try five nature shots. And since I have about five bazillion of those, to make it easier to choose I focused on ones that I have for sale in my Zazzle shop.

Just like last time, to get the effect, I used the editing feature on PicMonkey, and also added the "Dark Edges" filter because I thought it added to the old style atmosphere. This time around though, I decided to include the original, as well as the sepia-ed shot, to give a before & after comparison.

Oh, and don't forget to check out the latest post from hash tag host, @old-guy-photos called, A Super Sepia Saturday, that features so awesomely cool and old timey looking beach photos!

Now here are my Sepia Saturday Five Nature Shots!

Thanks so much, @joelsegovia! The original is one of my all time favorites that I was lucky enough to capture, and I was very happy with the Sepia results! So glad you liked it too! 😊

Those look absolutely fantastic! I think my particular favourite is the crow. Very nice!

Thanks, @wwwiebe! I was a little hesitant, because I was afraid the sepia would dull the photos too much, but I'm actually really enjoying playing with this filter! Glad you enjoyed the crow - they're one of my favorite birds that visit our yard. 😊

Hey, I'm pretty sure I stole it from someone else years ago, so no worries...😂

And I'm glad you did, because you used it to great effect, @old-guy-photos! 😊
