Permanent consequences

In my country located in the northern part of South America, it forms a great variety of geographical regions, the ecosystems of Venezuela extend from the lowest point at sea level to 4978 m in the Bolivar Peak, formed by Amazonian forests, savanna , dry forest, wet forest, coastal areas, arid areas, plains among many others (I have traveled in my country).

The Andean vegetation due to its physiognomy is affected differently by climate change, and specifically our only glacier located in the highest point of my country, the Bolivar peak, located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, has its days counted.

For years there has been a marked decrease in its size and its thickness, hikers and experts here affirms that its thickness decreases every year 1 m, that means that within a few years the only glacier in Venezuela will disappear.

As I have seen in the museum and on different websites, there will only be a photographic record and the recorded anecdotes of this treasure of nature almost instinct in Venezuela, as many people seek guilty of this ecocide without mourners, but no one shows up; is that it is very difficult, knowing that everyone contributed and contributes a grain of sand for their disappearance and even me and you who read this publication.

In the same way, an ecocide for the ambition of gold with the so-called Mining Arch is happening in the southern part of the country, destroying ancestral lands and forests, which forms the named lung of the world, the Amazon, all thanks to the tyranny that we suffer

It is a huge sadness to know that something you see every day has its days counted, something that can be considered eternal is no longer, all because of the ambition of many people around the world, they do not realize that their actions affect thousands of kilometers to other regions and people.

It only remains to be expected that future generations will take it as an example to save other natural wonders that we have, such as Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world that every year has reduced its flow, in the coming years there will be neither Salto nor Angel .
