Delightful day. The day started off with a late start to church, which meant that I couldn't get organ practice in before the service started. I played Bach's BWV 613 for the prelude, service hymns, improvised on "Let it Snow" for children's time, improvised on "Finlandia" for community time, played a piano solo called "Wonderful Peace" by mark Hayes for Offertory, and played Guilmant's March in D Op. 39 No. 3 for Postlude. I played a 1/2 hour recital after church for people willing to stick around. On this recital I played Buxtehude Prelude, Fugue, and Chaconne in C major, Guilmant's Op. 39 No. 2 and 3, Bach's Orgelbuchlein BWV 613, 614, and 615, and Mulet's Carillon Sortie. Afterwards, my wife and I went to lunch at an Indian restaurant and did some shopping. We came home and I played video games for a bit before warming up left-overs and watching a show about paranormal investigations called "Hellion". Good day.
