Choral dorien, JA 67 - Jehan Alain

Jehan Alain was a French composer from the 20th century so his music is not quite the same tonality as you would expect from a Vierne or Widor. The harmonies are interesting and probably his best known (and overplayed work) is the Litanies. I should probably learn the Choral phrygian as it would be paired nicely together with this piece! I hope you enjoy my rendition of this errie organ work.

It's very nice you chose to record this quiet piece. Alain would have been happy.

That was rather eerie, sounds like something you'd play in the background of a funeral x_x

I think I've said before that these organs look like a full body workout, because they really do XD

This is quite an eerie piece and pretty modern in today's organ repertoire standards. Thanks for listening :)
