SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST - WEEK 122 - SEA & BOATS with SUNSETS.

I have always had a thing for boats mainly sail boats , fishing boats and old traditional village fishing boats not so much for these luxury liner's and cruisers they just look to well over done it's all these old wooden fishing boats that i feel have more characteristics and while i was on the island of Koh Samui , i traveled around the island stopping at a few local fishing towns to admire some of these old traditional , Thai fishing boats they always looked great in the background either on shore or out at sea with a beautiful sunset reflecting their super structures. Here i will show you some fishing boats from various beaches around the island.

This was me on a sailboat while in the Greek islands.

The Thai people also operate these Thai traditional wooden boats as taxi tour boats to take you across from island to island or just for sight seeing tour they call them Tailboats normally fitted up with a 4 cylinder motor and a long steel handle running through the motor with a prop to steer them through the waters at pretty high speeds , i might add they were a real buzz of fun.
