A Quieter Moment

Today is a Bank Holiday in the UK and it is a scorcher.

The beaches were already busy when I went out for a cycle first thing this morning and are pretty packed now.

This photograph was taken on a similarly sunny but much quieter day in Hove, East Sussex. It is my entry for @marc-allaria's sea photography competition.

The theme this week is "SEA and BOATS !!!"

Kayaking here in Newfoundland is a great treat as well. Beautiful coastline and many nice little ponds to explore.

I don't actually kayak myself @buckydurddle but my partner is an avid fan. He tends to kayak surf here all year round and then go the Scotland every summr for a bit of sea paddling.
