[ScreenShot Saturday] My Last Week in Gaming (Oct 27- Nov 2)

For game developers #ScreenshotSaturday is a weekly event where they post screenshots of their WIP games. I'm a gamer so I'm doing a series of posts where I post my weekly gaming adventure!

So, I didn't game much this week. I thought of writing more about games I played in my childhood so I got Digimon games for Playstation and spent some time reliving memories.

The other game I played is Costume Quest which came just in time. I find myself gravitating for low demanding games due to my weak PC's low HDD space. But I think that what makes me find some games I won't bother to download otherwise.

Costume Quest

Epic Store made a superb choice for giving this Halloween themed game on the day of Halloween. I loved it so much! (Played it a day late though.)

It's a RPG about two twins new to the town who want to have the best Halloween ever. They go trick-or-treating houses, fight monsters and save each other to not get grounded? I dunno, but it's so fun and filled with kids imagination.

DQ Battles? Yup! That's why it's called Costume Quest.

Is that an acceptable thing to say about your twin sister?

Digimon: Digital Card Battle

Opened the emulator wanting to play "Digimon World 1" but I tried this first and I was hooked. I remembered why I spent tens of hours on this game especially since it focused on the second Digimon anime and I played it only a year after it aired on Spacetoon (the main kids channel for the arab world at the time.)

Before Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon Card Battle was my favorite card game. It blows my mind how the types are balanced (with Water focusing on defense and Fire on attack.)

They didn't need to have a model for the player in this game.
The weird thing is that it's even better than his DMW1 looks.

I appreciate that they made (text-)sprites for each attack
for every Digimon! Must took a lot of work. Oh, and 3D! Yeah~

So, that was my Week!

The last week of October was kind of slow, couldn't post everyday and didn't get to post about Yu-Gi-Oh game this week. As for November I'm thinking of writing about another old school franchise that's kinda still alive today (hint, hint.) On non-related note my backlog of games keeps increasing. I should filter the games I don't want to finish soon...

Finally as I write this post I noticed STEEM price began to increase. We'll see if this trends keep going by next week.

Thanks for reading~

How was your week in Gaming?

Do you have some screenshots or stories to share? Please post them in comments. I'd love to see them~

All screenshots are taken from their respective games by me.
