[ScreenShot Saturday] My Last Week in Gaming (Oct 20-26)

For game developers #ScreenshotSaturday is a weekly event where they post screenshots of their WIP games. I'm a gamer so I'm doing a series of posts where I post my weekly gaming adventure!

So, this is the last Saturday of October. This weel I played Yu-Gi-Oh GX Duel Academy to write a Review for. Completed my first impression article about Hyper Light Drifter I found the simple game Nothing to Say and reviewed it too.

Other than those games I played a bit of Duel Links and unlocked the character Yubel. Tried some cheap Indiegala games to earn Steam Trading Cards. Finally, I played Splinterlands (Steemmonsters) to earn some DEC.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Links

It's one of the games that rewards you for playing every day. In this week's event I unlocked Yubel: The monster obsessed with Jaden. She started with a very weak deck (even her strongest card isn't fit for the deck to play right.) I leveled her up a bit after that.

I also reached the stage where I can fight Chazz in Yu-Gi-Oh GX World. Finally~

Woodle Tree Adventures

This game is... Bad. I don't remember if I got it for cheap or free but it was one of the game you'd get for Steam Trading Cards. So, since it sat in my Library for long I decided to try it.

In Woodle Tree Adventure you play as a tree branch aiming to collect tears for his father(?) tree. The gameplay isn't good at all. Enemies are easy to defeat as long as you spam the hit button. If they touch you restart from the begining of the level. The games difficulty comes from controlling the character than any real difficulty.

Why, I still play it? Well, I like the the simplicity of the stages design and the character models. I'll probably delete the game without progressing any further.

Well, good excuse for a story... I guess.

Backpack is getting too big. Oh, well.

So, that was my Week!

This week I started to do my weekly posts seriously. I've been posting Screenshot Saturday and #Tic80Games for a while now. I added Review Wednesday and First Impressions Friday to the list.

As for my backlog of games I'll continue trying the games I got for cheap/free and see if I like them. I don't think many will be as bad as "Woodle Tree Adventure" mentioned above.
