All human beings make mistakes in life and these mistakes are diversified in several areas: family, institutional, social and individual.
For example, at the family level, we make many mistakes that obviously we have to work so that they do not turn into stumbling blocks to have a bad relationship with our family, we learn from error to error until we reach our family goals and despite the mistakes always remain united in the love that is the perfect bond of every family.

Also in our social life mistakes teach us different lessons to be better people as well as in our finances jobs or occupations.

In the same way in our spiritual life we also make many mistakes which should serve as a basis for learning from them and improving our relationship with God.

The psalmist David was a man with a heart similar to God's and yet he made many mistakes in his spiritual life. I believe that this psalm reflects his spiritual condition and the measure of his mistakes but trusts God and cries out to him in the multitude of his mistakes:

Psalm 51: 1.4

51 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your mercy;
According to the multitude of your piety, erase my rebellions.
2 Wash me more and more of my evil,
And cleanse me of my sin.
3 Because I recognize my rebellions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, against you I have only sinned,
And I have done evil in front of your eyes;
To be recognized right in your word,
