Staying in God's law brings glorious results.

All Christians know this verse and we know it by heart and we repeat it once and a thousand times but many times we do not find answers to this statement because we ask and do not look at results and we begin to question God but we do not stop to reflect on what really we says the Lord through this word.

First the verse affirms that if we remain in God his word will also remain in us.
What does this verse tell us?
The first thing we must understand is that remaining in God is a principle in the Christian and implies living for God to be continually practicing his word in obedience so that she can remain in us.

John 15: 7
7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, ask for everything you want, and it will be done to you.

How does the word of God remain in us?
He remains searching for his face day and night through the direction of the Holy Spirit, through reading, prayer with perseverance, congregation among others.
if we remain in God and keep his word everything we ask for and yearn for, God will grant it.
Also in Psalm 1 we can read what the psalmist says about this wonderful promise

Samos 1: 1-3
1 Blessed is the man who did not walk in the counsel of evil,
Nor was he on his way to sinners,
He has not sat in a chair of mockers;
2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah,
And in his law he meditates day and night.
3 It will be like a tree planted by streams of water,
That bears fruit in its time,
And his leaf does not fall;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

He who remains in the law of God is blessed and is compared to a good leafy tree full of fruits that always abound.

So delighting in God and remaining in his law brings wonderful blessings.
