You're favoured by God to to favour others

Luke 2:52KJV

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Good morning beloved, as you awake into the day, I want you to operate with the consciousness of favouring other around you. God never intends that you operate one kind of alone.

You would agree with me that there are two kinds of favour; favour with God and with men. Favour with God is great but if there is no corresponding favour with men, you will look like a man or woman that God has not blessed at all. Correspondingly, favour with men is great, but if God and heaven has not favoured you, your life will eventually look like someone that barely saw good things in life. It is the normal story of people who tried to thrive in life without God.

It speaks of people who have all their treasures here on earth where moth eat and thieves break in to steal. Many usually tricked by the devil to believe that God has nothing to do with their wealth or earthly possession. The one that make me sad is when believers join the trend to say that God has no contribution i their life or success in life, that its just a product of their personal effort and smartness.

I do know that you still remember the story of someone in the ancient times by the name Nebuchadnezzar had that kind of thinking. He was such a great king above all kings of the earth, and then he moved to thinking nonesense and to speaking rubbish from his mouth. Then God made him an animal within a second, and he found himself in the forest with the wild animals of the earth. He remained in that state for seven years until he acknowledge that there is a supreme God that he acknowledged and that he ruled in the affairs of men. Find time to read the account for yourself, I'm sure that you would have what to learn.

"While the wordd was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The Kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with with the beast of the field: they shall make you eat grass as oxen, and seven time shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsover he will. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: Now I Nebuchadnezzar praised and extol and honoured the king of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgement: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase". Daniel 4:31,32,34,37 KJV)

We see here that he lost favour with God even though he was in favour with men. His life became a disaster until he lifted his eyes up to God in worship.

Lord I completely repent of any kind of lifestyle that seeks to exclude or dis honour you in Jesus name.
