REDFISH RALLY MEME CHALLENGE - WEEK 2, November 13, 2019

I've only been a member of Steem a little over 100 days. As such, my Steem reputation is referred ti as "Redfish". But I've been on a mission to improve that. I've always lived by the saying that help comes to those who seek it. Knowledge and assistance are not going to come to you. Taking steps to seek them out in order to improve yourself is the only way. I feel that once you do this, others will see you are trying and offer to mentor you.

In that regard, I knew I wanted to write again, so I had to branch out to find other Tribes I thought would be a good fit us both. I joined Steem Terminal first because I understand that they are committed to helping new accounts learn and grow. They have helped me tremendously to expand my knowledge and expose my writing. I've met amazing individuals who are genuinely interested in helping me.

In helping me to learn and grow, Steem Terminal has some awesome challenges and contests, such as the Steem Terminal Redfish Rally. I joined the November Rally. So far, we had a challenge to help us learn how to curate. This current content will teach us how to create a quality Meme post. This is my first Meme challenge.

Thank God for Mother Nature.

I've never had a green thumb. I don't have one now. That's why the shrubs in my front garden above begged me to stay away and let Mother Nature handle them. They seemed to be doing fine until I tried to help. I do admire beautiful landscaping and esplanade sculpturing though while I'm out enjoying my day gathering inspiration for my writing. That's it.

I truly believe individuals who are gardeners have a gift for growing plants, and it's their passion. I've seen some amazing photographs of gardens from individuals here on Steem.

Instead of hoping I'll ever get the hang of it, I focus on other things I like to do. I call these gardening tasks my passions. Some of these are traveling in my RV, cooking, listing to Rock and Roll music, collecting antiques and figurines, family research, and writing. I hope to add scrap booking soon. In his training classes at Click Track Profit, @jongolson taught us to utilize what we are good at and leave projects that require a particular expertise to others. I plan to do just that.

Meanwhile, I'm acquiring the tools I need to cultivate my other gardens.

Thanks,
@justclickindiva

Every one has their passion and its important to always nurture your passions to your wildest imaginations. Everyone has their gifts and each gift is unique to them but what matters the most is how we connect each other's gifts to create a healthier, safer and more sustainable planet.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my post. You are correct in that everyone should pursue their passions. Just because one can't connect with one thing doesn' mean that one can't cotribute in other ways to the sustainability of the planet. I feel that I do my part in this in whatever venture I choose.

Appreciate your comments. Have a great day, and take care.

Hi @redheadpei Thank you for your kind words. No, not everyone has a green thumb. Thank God each of us has gifts. We just need to find out what they are.
