For my dear readers that don't know, the Kurds in Northern Iraq got ahold of Murray Bookchin's books, and were anarchists after that.

I gave Bookchin a chance, but he was just a rehash of the orginals, Kropotkin and Berkman.

If you call yourself an anarchist, and you haven't read those books, stop calling yourself an anarchist.
You are making us replow ground that people gave their lives for.

Interntional Volunteers of the Rojava Revolution

In 2019, Unicorn Riot interviewed three New Yorkers who volunteered to fight alongside the Peoples’ Protection Units (YPG) and Syrian Democratic Forces against ISIS and Turkey.
The documentary features their oral accounts overlaid with contributed footage from anonymous sources to bring you a first person point of view of what happened to fighters as they held the front line in defense of Rojava, an autonomous zone in northern Syria.

When we on this side of the Atlantic get to thinking that our anarchists are worthy of the name we need only point to the anarchists that have given their all.

Yes, the gardener is the highest attribute of being an anarchist.
If you grow food, you are revered by those that know.
Being able to provide for yourself and your kids is no mean feat.

However, for those of us with one foot still in the status quo, we that are unlikely to grow our own vegetables, there is a different standard, for me.

Until you have a mugshot, what have you really given to the revolution?

Yes, you tell your friends, those online for sure.
Yes, you spread the word.
