The Road to Steem Fest | Help Fund My Trip!
Hi Everyone,
Thank you @blocktrades and @anomadsoul for another great topic!
Why do I want to go to Thailand? I have to say this time is definitely different to last year as it is a lot closer to Australia (still 8hrs flight) but definitely better than flying to the other side of the globe with the whole family.
I've been to Thailand many times but to Bangkok was before the kids came along so it will be good to go there again without them. It is a lot cheaper than our last trip to Europe and the best part is we have direct flights to Sydney. I want to catch up with Steemians who I met last year and meet those who couldn't make it to Krakow. It will be so good to finally meet many of them this time round and talk about Steem stuff without explaining everything from the beginning. It will also be a trip that I will be travelling by myself without the boys so I can actually enjoy the sleep in and not worry about making milk, nappies or laundry this time round.
I can't wait to get massages in Thailand (miss them so much!) and getting pampered for a fraction of the price. I miss the mango stick rice as I can't seem to find anything near as good here in Sydney. The ultimate thing I miss in Thailand (food wise) is definitely goong che nam pa! It's raw prawn soaked in fish sauce eaten with chilli, bitter melon, garlic and a whole heap of stuff. OMG just thinking about it makes me want to fly over asap!
Meeting Steemians, massages, food ..... Can't wait to see you all!!
