Es una muy buena pregunta ¿Quién es mi cantante favorito?

Podría ser Andrea Corr, The Corrs fue mi grupo favorito por mucho tiempo, casi desde que los conocí. Me fui comprando todos sus discos, los que encontraba, porque era muy difícil, casi como legendarios 😂 pero poco a poco los he reunido casi todos. Ella tiene una voz dulce, o al menos la tenía hasta hace unos 10 años, ahora cuando canta en vivo ya no suena tan bien u.u pero me sigue gustando mucho la música que hacen, incluso sacó un disco en solitario pero no me llamó tanto la atención, ya que no tenía el mismo "misticismo" que las canciones en grupo. Curiosamente mi segunda hija se llama Andrea, el nombre me gusta mucho. Y también esa banda me ha hecho querer visitar Irlanda, de donde son originarios.

O debería ser Amaia Montero, tal vez te la has topado por Madrid o algo, ella es española, la ex-vocalista de La Oreja de Van Gogh. Ese grupo empezó a gustarme por allá del 2003 tal vez, cuando su segundo disco empezó a sonar en la radio. Inmediatamente la voz de Amaia llamó mi atención, junto con las bellas letras y música era una excelente combinación. Para mi fue una pesadilla el anuncio en 2007 de que la banda se separaba, nunca pude verlos en vivo con Amaia, luego ella inició su carrera en solitario pero tampoco me atrajo, no fue lo mismo.

Mi tercera candidata sería Leire Martínez, primero la odié, lo admito. Ella fue el sustituto de Amaia, así que no quererla era lo más lógico. Aún así me gustaron algunas canciones, en especial "Inmortal" y "La niña que llora en tus fiestas". En el 2014 tuve que tomar una fuerte decisión, resulta que se iban a presentar en mi ciudad, sí, ¡Aquí! No podía creerlo, era mi grupo en español favorito ¡pero con la vocalista que me caía mal! Varias noches soñé con que el concierto pasaba y no iba y me arrepentía muchísimo, así que decidí ir. ¡Y ahora no me arrepiento de haber ido! Fue un excelente concierto y desde ahi me cae bien Leire 😂 Tiene una voz medio nostálgica, que me recuerda las canciones de los animes de los 80-90s, y he de agregar que en vivo canta genial y además es una excelente intérprete.

I also consider myself to be a music freak therefore picking one singer and calling it my favorite is really hard for me. I will pick one of the artists that I have been listening the most lately and talk about him: Mac Miller.

I wont lie, I discovered Mac´s music right after he passed away (RIP Mac) and I instantly felt like I was missing out. His amazing talent is pretty obvious even in his early mixtapes when he was just a kid. K.I.D.S ("Kickin' Incredibly Dope Shit") was released in 2010 when Mac was only 18 years old. Another legend that leaves us way too early, not even making it to the 27 club.

But lets not get too sentimental with his death and talk about what is very alive: his music. I am not a huge fan of rap music, to be honest I started listening to rap recently... maybe in the last 3-4 years. But theres something about Macs style that makes it for me. His melodies, his voice, the speed at what he sings (I can actually understand what he says, other rappers just babble).

He often mentions Pittsburgh in his songs, his beloved city is always present and he always showed himself grateful of his crew from there. He was really close with Wiz Khalifa who is also from Pittsburgh.

His lyrics are sentimental, he opens up like a true man, without any kind of fear, and it takes balls to do that when you are a public person. If you pay attention to his last albums, there are hints of the struggle he was going through. Drug abuse, depression... it all lead to the worse. But we still have his legacy, some amazing music that will keep him alive in our hearts when we press play and dance to his beats.

I dont want to make this too long and boring so... here are some of my favorite songs from Mac.

first, great give away! I recently got in to the game and am still grinding on the bottom of the ladder. But i'm excited about it.
Secondly i'll answer your question.
My favourite singer is Bart Peeters. It's not a very known singer in other countries but in Belgium he is rather famous.
He has a beautiful voice but the mayor thing about him being a great musician is the atmosphere he can create. His songs are so diverse that during a concert you can and cry, and laugh, and yell and dance in the time span of an hour.
His last concert I went to was with half my family. My family has a big age gap in between, yet everyone absolutely loved the concert. In my opinion, that's what makes a good musician. Feeling the crowd & creating emotions among those listening.
