Today I would like to look at James 1 verse 12.

12)Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

We will be tested through temptation throughout our lives, but we must stand firm against these temptations. If we stand firm, we will receive eternal life, through Jesus Christ who died for our sins.

We're already saved by faith in Jesus. Resisting temptation doesn't save us. It's a trait of those who are already saved.
