A Dose of Collagen With Chicken Feet Adobo

I live with two senior citizen aunts that are health conscious that all our meals are well thought of. Today, they decided we will have some collagen in our diet, so they picked chicken feet and cooked it Adobo style. Adobo is basically cooking in soy sauce and vinegar with spices like garlic, onion, peppercorns, bay leaves and we added ginger and chili peppers to add spice and aroma.

It is quite a process to cook chicken feet because you need to make sure to clean it. We remove the outer skin of course and all the other hardened skin. We have it boiled with water for about 20-30 minutes then we drained it. Then we sauted it with the spices for Adobo and simmered it in soy sauce and vinegar for about 15 minutes or so, until the sauce was sticking to the chicken feet like a glaze.
