Minimalism - about the book. My weekend reflections decorated by the photographs i photographed.

I started reading the Minimalism book written by Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus. I got this book from my friend Jeremy when he arrived for the short visit a few years ago and I came to meet him in TelAviv's airport. Long 2 years this book was lying on my desktop and we both waited for the right moment and right place to meet.

Somehow I wasn't sure if I need to read about something that is already an integral part of my life. I kinda "propagandize" and explain to people how simple and happier our (their) life can be without the nonstop rise after things which they do not really need in everyday life.

As a great timing, yesterday I met my distant relatives who returned home after the long shopping in the local IKEA store and spent additionally to their time some crazy amount of money and brought a few fully packed bags, but actually don't remember what exactly they bought. Sure many of us remember the moments like this and not only connected to this specific store but with different aspects of our life.

Well, I return back to the book, which by my prediction is repeating my words and my concept of simple living. I was right and when started reading, I found how many similarities may have different people who did not even communicate live.

I include here a few images I took today and yesterday - the black coffee I prepare on fire from the natural Ethiopian ground coffee beans. My very old tube amplifier - not too technologically fancy but having such hot vibes and warm sound and the old Mexican Fender Strat that also sounds crunchy with the $7 Piramid Hendrix edition strings set.

"Less is more" - I always say this phrase that is working for me very well for an already long period of time. This $35 plastic film camera is a great sample that possible to take some great images without 50 Megapixel super modern camera. One of the samples you can find below.

Sure everything is it's all a matter of taste and habits and this post is not an attempt to impose any opinion, but simply showing the other side of the coin.
