Pre-Thanksgiving Meal Prep, A New Running Milestone & a Warm Lap {Whew!}

We went and stocked up on goodies for the week ahead, along with some extras for my Thanksgiving table contributions. The good thing about hitting the market a little later than usual was that I actually caught the plant-based foods vendor who has some amazing goodies! We're usually in and out before she gets there, so I was excited to see her setting up so I could grab some more vegan, gluten-free pizza and these killer donuts! The chocolate was especially delicious for a post-run treat

OH WOW! Look at them donuts! Definitely a special treat! I'd love to have a sample taste of that chocolate one!

Shadow Hunters: Trees In The Forest

I saw these shadows of the tree trunks as I was walking in the forest behind the house. The deciduous trees have lost their leaves now that it is fall and the temperature is dropping.

So what kind of trees, and their shadows, did @redheadpei see on this stroll?

There’s a good variety of trees in this forest; Lots of spruce, fir, pine, tamarack, birch, poplars, along with the hardwoods of maple, beech and yellow birch

On The Chesapeake Bay Bridge

All of my photos were taken from the vehicle that I was in while driving over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Annapolis, Maryland. I really liked the reflections showing up on the vehicle we were in so decided to leave them in my photos. It was very early in the morning and we were on our way to Ocean City, Maryland. I'm showing a few more photos that I took while we were on the bridge, in black and white as well

With caution we get up today Colombians, some to march, others to different jobs, but all pending the epic national strike called for today by all unions and national entities

So much bad news has been happening in Columbia and @fiveelements5 shares some information about what has been going on there. People are marching and protesting!
