Qurator's Tasty Tuesday/ PANCIT - a Filipino food

Did you know about this kind of food that is popular in the Philippines? Have you tried this delicious food that can always be found during there will be a birthday celebration? If you haven't tried it, I think you must because this not just a cheap food but also delicious.

Actually I can't tell you in details in cooking this kind of food. I have an idea how to cook this one but I'm not sure if I can cook it well. In cooking pancit it's not hard because it's just a basic way. That's why I'm not confident in telling you all how to cook pancit because I found it hard in adding the water of it. I was with many people who were cooking pancit. Some of them cooked it with lack of water and ended up not cook enough. Some of them added with water too much and ended up overcooked.

The basic in cooking it is very easy. Placing oil in cooking the spices first. Then put the water first before the pancit materials. It's easy but the value of fire to cook it. The time when you will think it's cook enough is hard. If you are not sure in cooking it, just don't try it or else the food will be wasted. I assure you thag no one would love to eat this delicious food if not cooked well.

Wait did I said you will find this food if there will be a birthday celebration? If I said it, then I'm going to tell you why. I don't know if it's true or if there some basis why we Filipino thought that way about this food. It started this belief a long, long time ago.

For us Filipino we should serve a pancit food in our birthday celebration. According to the old people it will make the birthday celebrant a longer life. This kind of belief was being influenced the whole country. Although when time passes, the generation became advance and people will now don't believe of such a belief.

So the new generation don't know this kind of culture anymore. But still the food are still popular because it's delicious and cheap.
