Quarantine Goals Update & a lil crypto chat!
Hey everyone!
How's everyone doing? We're well into a sunny stretch this week which is so nice. It's still fairly cool but I'm loving the sunshine.
Especially since I got the patio furniture!
It came a lot earlier than expected! I'm so excited. It's the perfect spot for morning to midafternoon sun. Later on for where the sun moves into evening I'll want to put a bench on the other side but I'm so happy with this so far. That means my sitting area quarantine goal is done and met! You can also see my hanging planters here as well, which means I crossed that goal off my list too! Feeling really good right now!
Here's some progress on some plants I'm growing. These are some peas. The trays behind with the strawberries and lavender only have the teenest sprouts but the strawberries apparently can take up to like 6 weeks to germinate so I'm not worried.
The cedar box for the morning glories came as well so I have to put it together and plant them in the next couple of weeks, once it's safe to directly plant them outside. I'm thinking I'm also going to have to start sourcing some organic mulch. Maybe I should have a container or something for plant cuttings that can dry out and help with that and supplement it with other things.
I've really been enjoying my time out there this week. It's been really healing and rejuvenating and I'm so glad this balcony garden was my quarantine project!
Other than the garden, I've been doing okay. I cut all of my hair off and damn it's been a long time. Here's me going out on the grocery trip this week.
Our province started opening up some businesses this week tentatively to see how it goes. They'll open more in June if there isn't a concerning spike in covid-19 cases.
