Will it Be Pimp Your Post Thursday or HF22 Hangout Today? Come to The Ramble and Find Out
Yes, you saw that right. There will be another hardfork today. A problem was found with delegation yesterday which needs to be fixed with a hardfork. That will take place at 11am which is when PYPT is supposed to start.
So, if HF22 goes smoothly, we’ll carry on with PYPT as normal. Well almost normal, will address that in a moment. If it doesn’t go smoothly, we’ll hangout and speculate on how long it will take to get things going smoothly. Or, maybe we’ll just shoot the breeze and get to know each other. Like our afterchats.
Status of My Computer
On the subject of almost normal. I am still with the loaner system so I’ll be recording the links on the forum as normal but PYPT wont be recorded or streamed today.
The good news is, my new system is ready and waiting for me at the local shop. I just need the mail to arrive with my cheque so I can pay for it. All goes well, it will be today or tomorrow. The new system is an HP, the old was an Acer. I’ve had an HP before and was happy with it.
I’m looking forward to getting back to a system where I can open programs and tabs without the machine slowing to a crawl. And I’m looking forward to getting my second screen back in action. I really love being able to have a reference on one screen while I take notes on another screen. This doing it one screen is for the birds.
The Price of Steem
I’ve been seeing some posts proclaiming that the markets are reacting negatively to HF21 because the price of STEEM has dropped again. Have you taken a look at those markets? They are a sea of red starting with Bitcoin dropping below 9500. There is the reason STEEM has taken a drop again.
The sky is falling posting is not helpful thank you very much.

Okay, enough of my rambling. Today at 11am EDT / 3pm UTC will be either PYPT or a hangout depending on how HF22 rolls. Then this evening at 7pm EDT / 11pm UTC will be PYPT — well that is assuming all goes well and the chain is humming along.
Should be a fun day on Steem. Come and join us. If you haven’t joined us before, you’ll meet some new friends.
And yes, no matter what we end up doing, there will be draws for SHADE and SBI taking place at both shows.
