honouring our soul’s journey by being fully present in the harder, darker times.

This is the message of last few years for me. We cannot expect to be happy all the time - that is a fallacy we have been sold. But we can be less unhappy with our suffering, understanding that it is part of the richness of what makes us human. Oh goddess, it can hurt like fuck. But it hards alot more fighting against it.

This post truly resonated with me. Thanks x

That is the most amount of profound truth I have heard from one person at one time in all of 2019, thank you.... Sometimes I feel like most of the people I know in the conscious realm have these set of philosophical principals that they are trying to spread like wildfire, that are all pointing to everyone being these specific types of ways to achieve "sustainable-happiness". This could be applied to the relationship to self and every other kind of relationship in your life. Every time I hear and see it I always think the same thing - "this is fake, these people do know truly know life yet." & I honestly always hope that they can stay in that state forever bc (and i don't mean to be cliche), ignorance is bliss right? I also not dare question these types any longer (at least not directly), since they rarely end up changing their perspectives.

It is not so oddly refreshing to hear some deep and straightforward TRUTH from someone for a change. Being in the "know" in this way and living it through honest expressions can often times leave me feeling extremely isolated, like a lone wolf that is misunderstood by the rest of the pack - like no one really gets it but me. It is always so therapeutic to hear words of truth after my own heart from another... and I don not mean truth as in the "limited perspective" of my truth, your truth, or our truth that many reference, but the actual truth that exists in the true balance of observing, sensing, and experiencing the full spectrum of existence. Thank you @rok-sivante, I am producing a new album called: Power of Truth I think you will like, releasing in 2020 - blessings everywhere.

P.S. I recently wrote an article that touches on what to do when terrible trespasses occur against you and your people, that touched on some of the same vibrations here (although different subject matter), but had an alternate conclusion... an allusion to re-balancing scales.

Your welcome.

And thank you for the feedback. It’s just as refreshing to hear/read that such perspectives resonate and I’m not alone in those regards. T’is a far greater reward than the couple bucks earned on this post to see it connected with even just one person and there are certainly others who get it.

🙏💓

Can we even recognise happiness without some pain and sadness?

The brain strives for an equilibrium, because to experience the extremes either side is unsustainable. We've seen what ongoing depression does to people, after all. Perhaps happiness is that equilibrium and on the other side is excitement.

There is a certain something to the saying that we make our own happiness. Some of those living hard lives are still able to find happiness in life.

Maybe we are here to undergo a full spectrum of experience and emotion, from the darkest of the dark to the lightest of the light, and a bit of everything in between.

This thought has crossed my own mind a few times of late. Perhaps we chose oye life and what to endure before we even came into this world.

I don't believe that anyone can go through life with no unhappiness. There will always be something that will cause unhappiness at least for a while. Whatever life you live, you can't have everything you want and something must be sacrificed for something else. One person might envy another for a life where they never had to worry financially, while that person might envy the family life that they never experienced growing up because both their parents always worked to provide that financial stability.

Oh boy, ain’t that the truth, going through that lesson right now! Damned Law Of Attraction gurus with their fucking “you can have it all” slogan...!! 🤣💗

I have a feeling the person that wrote that doesn't really read your posts fully. That would have been probably about the last thing I would have surmised from most of your posts. Not to say that you are a miserable person by any means. You just tend to write from a certain place and it isn't usually when you are having your highs. No offense :P

None taken. There is certainly some truth to that. I recall reading recently how art tends to come out of the darker shades of the human experience more often than not.

Granted, it’s been a while since I actually was in the highs. Two years, really. I’m sure the content I was publishing during the bull market probably would’ve been of a different nature. As I recall, I first saw you around here after that while already in decline.

Looking forward to whatever next ascents there may be and what writing shall come out then...

For sure. I would wager that more amazing songs have probably come out of heartache rather than joy. I look forward to your future posts as well!
