Across The Pond
I am thinking of a friend of mine, someone I have known for some time, now, on Hive/Steemit. We met, thru Discord, through a mutual friend, @thekittygirl. Our friend, who I am thinking of, introduced me to many others, including the Alliance, and many others online. she lives just across the pond from this lighthouse!
Oak Orchard Lighthouse Someday, I will be traveling The Great Loop, a trip by boat up the Eastern Coast of the US, from Florida, to New York, through the Great Lakes, to the Mighty Mississippi River, out to the Gulf Of Mexico, and back to where you start, in Florida. I'll see these three Lighthouses by Boat! and even more! I hope to gather shots of all the Lighthouses on The Great Loop!
Olcott Lighthouse I wonder, how many lighthouses, will I find on the Great Loop? As for the Great Loop, my intention, is to learn to travel by boat, longer distances, without leaving the safety of nearby shores. Most take a full year to complete the Loop. Or, some do it over two boating seasons. And later? after I am confident, well, that's when, Blue's Dream, the boat I have been dreaming of for close to two decades, will come in... that's when I become a new Member of the Nordhavn Family.

Oh my gosh! That sounds like an absolute dream of a trip!!! What size boat will you need to do it?
the Great Loop? I will do it in a 27 foot (9m) powerboat called a Ranger Tug 27. I'll add a 2nd fridge, an icemaker, and 2 solar panels. It has a wonderful setup.
This post has a picture of it (from a fiction series I wrote - later chapters get a bit risque, but not this chapter!):

Hope your dreams come true sooner.
There is something about lighthouses, quaint, beautiful, adventurous and even romantic.
I love them.
Thanks for sharing these lovely images here.
you only had to swim about 50 miles across that pond to visit. Guess the boat would be easier eh.
