Can You Read Me?
What do you think that I was looking at when I took this photo? Was I outside? Was I looking into the ultraviolet rays of the sun, or some form of psuedo-lighting? To be completely honest, I am not sure exactly what I was looking at. The photo was taken a couple years ago. However, for the sake of this article, I am going to imagine that I was looking at the future of the steem platform, burning brightly in the lives of each member in our little steem family.
--If you look closely, you can see the muscles of my iris tightly hugging the warm, steem-light, with all their might.
I want to thank @riverflows and @mindtrap for a couple of articles they recently produced. I have experienced a shift in paradigm and come to a realization: I do not care about how many upvotes I get to each of my posts! I am here, now, because I actually enjoy writing, sharing, learning, and developing myself, together with the other members in this community! From here on, I am at steem hoping, only, that my little voice can contribute something good to the other members of the steem family!
--I hope that reading something I wrote can put a smile on someones face, make them laugh, make them cry, or give them the encouragement they need to make it through another day, because these are the things that make us human.
If you are anti-human altogether, then you are probably an idiot, and I'm sorry. If you are reading this, then YOU ARE HUMAN, probably (I don't want to offend any aliens, especially if they have ray-guns, don't want to mess with ray-guns). That kind of self-limiting thinking, stagnates the development of our society -- so change your way of thinking and help us UNLEASH our potential!!!

I want to give a big thank you, to all of my fellow steemians. I vow, from this point forward, to continue learning and contributing my best to the steem platform! I hope that my future contributions to steem can inspire others the way that @riverflows and @mindtrap have inspired me. There are so many talented people here, it is like trying to be the best artist in prison, THERE IS NO BEST!!! Each person has their very own set of special and unique skills. Each person has their own valuable contributions to make and there is a community of people just waiting to appreciate who we all are. Decentralization allows for all of that untapped potential to be rewarded! No more wasting all the great things that make us human!

I thank you again for reading. I absolutely intend to follow through with this, improving every day. I am a beginner, but you are correct in your presumption that I have undergone much inner-reflection. Although, that has in the past, sometimes made me my own worst enemy, I will use this part of myself to drive me forward into the bettering future.
It seems very much like you've risen from the ashes, phoenix-like, and have emerged...different to that which you once were. It happens, sometimes multiple times in a person's life.
Here, I think you're on the right track. Too many make this place all about what's in it for me (WIIFM) and are focused on financial reward. I disagree with that as it often leads to behaviour that works in counter-productive ways for them. I believe the reward needs to be the engagement, the writing, creating and idea-sharing over and above rewards.
If one has that ethos then it won't matter than no one reads your post, or you only got 0.01 in reward. What will happen though, is that you will gain better relationships, write more passionately and from the heart...HAVE MORE FUN.
This is where the value starts.

If you do half of what I've just read for Steem, then the future both for Steem and for you will be bright. Because others will be motivated through your writings as well..domino effect.
