Guinness, World Record, Art Attempt!

A new world record in origami artwork will be launched soon! Cape Town artist Jooj plans to smash a Guinness World Record for the largest display of origami butterflies this December. More than 30,000 individually folded hanging butterflies will be on display at his "Merlin Wall Showcase" at the Youngblood Arts and Culture Gallery from December 5! I spoke to his manager today and told him that I would like to raise awareness about this attempt and this post is the result!

Brussels Sprouts with Preserved Lemon and Shallots - Fruits and Veggies Monday

If you're still trying to decide how, or even if, to serve brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving, perhaps this quick, elegant and delicious recipe will help you choose. You can slice all the ingredients long before your guests arrive, and the final preparation is easily done when the entree is done. Less drama! This dish also heats up well if you are bringing it somewhere else, but cool it down quickly after cooking to preserve the green color, and either heat it up there or even serve them at room temperature. I love them cold the next day too.

Why Relationships Fail

Relationships take many years to cultivate and nurture. They aren't something that just happen overnight, and it's definitely not something you will be able to perfect over less than a few months. In fact, if you manage to find yourself in a comfortable space with your long-term partner eventually then you'll probably agree with me that relationships aren't something that you can perfect. It's an ever-shifting, ever-moulding process.
