BODAS DE ORO: 50 años de Celebración y muchas cosas que contar.

Good morning to everybody. I hope this Sunday is special for everyone.

Have you been to a gold wedding?

I had never lived the experience of participating in one ... until yesterday.

Everything had almost started the day before when the family was decorating the room for this event. I spent most of the week organizing tables and chairs for 110 people who would attend. One week? Perhaps you will wonder; Yes, one week. I not only take care of that but also to build things inside and around the enclosure. I am also manufacturing some stands for the synthetic grass court and the bases for 15 tables, as it is planned to open a restaurant for next month and start a football tournament.

For this event, I would stop being in charge of maintaining the place to become the leader of the waiters. In Chile, they are called Garzones. And of course, being alone for everything, time is not enough for me to do things so quickly, so when the waiters arrived, they helped with the cleaning details.

The cooks in charge also arrived at the time and put to work:

Outside the enclosure everything was ready. Open pool, although no one would bathe; camping area: ready, lights in the hallway: ready, all in their proper place to start receiving guests.

In the kitchen, everything was going well. Several dishes would be prepared: In the beginning, it would be soup with pebre; something very typical of Chileans; Of the main course, meat to the pot with rustic potatoes and salad. Then I will publish the recipe because they were spectacular in flavor; At the end of everything, they drink coffee or tea to relax, and according to them, the food goes down.

Everything was beautiful. They were celebrating 50 years of marriage between Mrs. Luisa and Don Esteban; Sons and daughters, grandchildren, brothers and close friends shared the joy with them.

It is a pity that my phone does not take such spectacular photos. When night came, a beautiful full moon made its appearance; It seems that he also celebrated another year of nuptials with the Sun. So, as Chileans say: "Let's split the cake no more". These cakes were of various flavors: Chocolate, orange, peanut butter, and three kinds of milk.

At the end of everything, we were presented with some table centers that were made with natural flowers.

We finished washing dishes and cleaning almost everything at 3 am. When we wake up, we will prepare a soup to share with the waiters, who are Venezuelans and part of my family. Of that, I will tell you in an upcoming publication, since you have to eat and time is short, lol.

What a good report of the entire celebration @oneray. I believe that to have reached so many years of marriage a great party must be held. It does not turn another 50 years, right? I didn't know about those party organizing skills, good for you.
