To persevere when everything is broken

Hi friends! The third time is the charm, as the say! I have had a very rough week — one of those where things get broken and stolen and all efforts to set things to rights fail. And it’s only Tuesday!

I found this image and fell in love with it immediately because it is the picture that says a thousand words, and captures exactly how I feel at this moment.

That said, I know this is a temporary situation, and that things will get better, and that focusing on what is going wrong has never fixed anything.

One of my greatest life lessons came from my 5th grade teacher, Sister Dolores. She was one of the kindest and most genuine people I ever met in my childhood, and was a true inspiration to me. She taught us the word “persevere,” and told us to always remember that word and its power to help us through any situation. I would love to tell her how many times it has helped me in my life!

So, what all happened that got me thinking about this? Well my Steem account got hacked and my credit card was hacked and I have tried twice (after setting and fixing all passwords) to post via Actifit without success, and I still can’t get to Steem through Steemit. That’s all.

So I may have fixed my Actifit issues, but the only way of knowing is to write a post and attempt to post it and cross my fingers that I don’t get that error again! Here goes!
