Today, on the Day of Love and Friendship, I want to share these photos with you. There is nothing better than flowers to cheer up everyone's heart and soul.

These photos were taken at the home of a wonderful woman, who shines with her own light and brings peace to my soul and heart when I need it. For some reason, the universe always puts by my side people who try to protect me. She is one of those people. My mentor in my teaching career.

I remember the day I started working at the Universidad de Oriente and my boss assigned me to the Coordination of Teaching Practices. I guess my face was a question mark, because she took my hand and said, "Don't worry, I'll help you! From that day on, she became part of my life in and out of the work spaces and when she noticed that I was ready, she simply let me go my way, but always nearby, in case I needed her.

The truth of the matter is that, while we were talking about many things, she noticed that she could not take her eyes off her beautiful Orchids and was very determined, she tells me:

• They're beautiful, aren't they?

I smiled (actually, I burst out laughing)

He took his phone and told me:

-Take the pictures you want and share them where you write. My Orchids deserve to be the focus of one of your publications. So fill that space with color.
