I finished my Drawing Today

Few days ago I get back to drawing after 5 months of no practice. I also shared that I was really upset and stuggled during the process of making it. There's some point of it that I lose my focus and feel tired to early. I knew that it was the result of my laziness.

I am now trying to stay focus and get back to what i truly love aside from music. Arts and crafts always has a special space in my heart. So today since I've already finished my drawing of Lisa, I hope you could stay with me as I share my drawing today.

What I don't Like...

There's a huge difference when I tried to draw the eye first before the face sketch. It was obvious in my drawing that I don't level the nose and the mouth area. Aside from that the face seems to look not in balance. That's what exactly happened today. All I can do to this drawing was to still finish it though it doesn't meet my own standard.

The funny thing about this experience, I see few angle of Taylor Swift. Maybe because of the bangs and the cat-eye look. I continue to do the shading using make-up brush.

What I like...

I believe that experience would always teach us. The process of making arts are time consuming and requires effort. Any art work portrays artist natural talent. Though my drawing didn't look the way I wanted, I'd still love the process thatbI learned during this art work.

My favorite part of it was the lips and the eye. The lips shines natural and the eye was pretty much realistic. Well it was my own opinion and anyone can criticize my drawing. At this point that I do have a decent beginner drawing set, I do know that in the future I can produce quality drawing and sketches that I myself would be proud of.

In conclusion I see that my drawing is not close to my reference but I'd still chose to finished it. I knew that it was just a start and I take it as a challenge towards my journey on having a closer look or to duplicate my chosen reference.
