I was sleeping in Jurte for half a German winter and every morning, everybody was pretending to be asleep and waited for someone else to get up and light the fire.
Toilets were 50 meters away and also barely heated.
I hated it.
Best thing to get you warm is to work, btw. It's what I do at work - Just grab something heavy and carry it upstairs somewhere. Within minutes you are warm. Still hate the cold.

I think I'd hate the communal sleeping arrangements more than the cold!
I need to sort out my physical work - you are right, I just need to get used to it in my routine!
I'm too used to non physical labour.
