In recent years we have witnessed a very strong rise in rap in the Italian music scene.
Behind this success there are often figures that do not enjoy the light of the spotlights, work in the shadows, live in the studios and make everything they hear.
I'm talking about music producers, artistic figures indispensable in the conception of a song and entire albums.
Today my shots are dedicated to Low Kidd, Machete home producer and founder of the 333Mob collective.

Negli ultimi anni abbiamo assistito ad una fortissima ascesa del rap nel panorama musicale italiano.
Dietro a questo successo spesso si nascondono figure che non godono della luce dei riflettori, lavorano nell'ombra, vivono negli studi e confezionano tutto ciò che ascoltiamo.
Parlo dei produttori musicali, figure artistiche indispensabili nel concepimento di una canzone e di album interi.
Oggi i miei scatti sono dedicati a Low Kidd, produttore di casa Machete e fondatore del collettivo 333Mob.

Low Kidd is recognizable by its dark sound and its powerful case batteries, all its world gravitates around the recording studio and the machines contained in it.
He is a character who speaks little in public, his productions speak for him and this is enough, trust me.
I had the opportunity to spend some time on the road with him and knowing him I understood that his approach to serious and methodical work is his winning card.
An excellent producer is always 70% of a great song.

Low Kidd è riconoscibile per un suono cupo e per le sue batterie dalla cassa potente, tutto il suo mondo gravita attorno allo studio di registrazione e alle macchine contenute in esso.
E' un personaggio che parla poco in pubblico, le sue produzioni parlano per lui e questo basta, fidatevi.
Ho avuto l'occasione di stare per un po' di tempo in tour con lui e conoscendolo ho capito che il suo approccio al lavoro serio e metodico sono la sua carta vincente.
Un ottimo produttore è sempre il 70% di un ottima canzone.

Hai fatto bene a parlarne perché spesso chi sta “dietro le quinte” non viene menzionato, pur facendo un grandissimo lavoro e fondamentale!

Da ex produttore e ora da addetto ai lavori sempre dietro le quinte capisco certi personaggi. Se il music business va avanti non è sempre merito di chi ci mette la faccia.
